Spring Into Action: Fresh Parenting Goals for a New Season

Spring Into Action: Fresh Parenting Goals for a New Season

April 01, 20251 min read

Spring is here, and it brings the fresh, exciting energy to hit the reset button and embrace growth. As a parent, I’ve found that this time of year is a perfect time to set new intentions—for myself and my family.

I wanted to take a moment to share the spring goals I’ve been focusing on to help me be more present with my kids and create more balance in my day-to-day life.

  • More One-on-One Time: I’ve decided to dedicate more time to connecting with all of my kids individually. Whether it’s a short walk, reading a book, playing a board game or just having a chat, those little moments matter.

  • Avoid Over-Scheduling: I've made it a priority not to over-schedule the kids and to leave room for downtime, and spontaneous moments without the pressure of a packed calendar.

  • Prioritizing Self-Care: I’m working on carving out space for my own well-being, whether it’s a walk by myself, a cup of tea, or a yoga session.

If the energy of spring is motivating you, it’s a great time to set some fresh goals for your family. They don’t need to be major—small, intentional shifts can truly transform your relationships and how your family functions together. Maybe you want to find more time for fun family activities, or perhaps you want to tweak your parenting approach to create more harmony at home.

Let’s make this spring a time of growth and connection for your family!
